It looks like Halo 5 players have some cool things to look forward to in the next week. That’s because 343 Industries has confirmed that a new update is going to be released on Tuesday. Yep. this Tuesday.
It’s called “Hog Wild”. There won’t be any new maps, but it does add some additional vehicles to the game. That’s the good news. However, some of the bigger items that were supposed to arrive with this update need more time so they have been moved to the Warzone Firefight release. Still, vehicles! We love that!
Most of the content of the Hog Wild release in fact, has been bundled into the Warzone Firefight release, which is going to be the largest release to date for Halo 5. That one is scheduled to arrive by the end of June, so it won’t be a long wait.
Content included in the Hog Wild update on May 31st includes new vehicles, new armor, and a new Hybrid Scope that uses holographic target acquisition and can retrofit BR, SMG, AR, or DMR. This is going to be released for all players on Tuesday. We should have more details on the Warzone Firefight release soon. It is a good time to be a Halo fan.
