Fans of Assassin’s Creed are anxious to hear more about the upcoming latest game in the series and we are getting it in 2014. The folks at Kotaku managed to get their hands on some alleged leaked screenshots belonging to one of the two Assassin’s Creed titles slated for a release later this year.
Apparently, the name of one of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed games is called “Unity”. It is unknown if this is the codename or the actual name for the game. As for where the new Assassin’s Creed game is taking place? The screenshots suggest Paris, since they show locations like the Seine river and Notre Dame, among others. We don’t know if the entire game will be set in Paris though.
Assassin’s Creed Unity will be designed for current-gen consoles like the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, while the other title codenamed “Comet” will be released for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. We don’t know if there will be PC or Wii U releases. The screenshots are apparently showing off the game in its development stages, which is why the images look not so great.
