Netflix is all about providing great content for you to watch on your TV, so it makes sense that they would have their own recommendations about which TVs are the best. It was at CES that Netflix first announced that it would be recommending specific TVs for its streaming service. Now they have made good on that promise.
Today, the company has revealed its first round of sets that it likes. All of these will come with the “Netflix Recommended TV” label.
The recommended sets include LG’s 4K UHD TVs with webOS 2.0, all of Sony’s Android TVs, and Roku’s sets from Hisense, Insignia and TCL. This label isn’t just a decoration. It will get you much faster access to Netflix. The company says they will all launch its app faster than other devices. We don’t know how much faster though. They will also get you access to new features sooner.
If that isn’t enough, Sony and Roku’s TVs will soon have the option to turn on and launch Netflix with a single button. Then all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show. This is great news for Netflix lovers, making it a hassle free experience with these sets.
