If you’re relaxing in your hotel room and just flipping through the channels, you probably wish you could stream Netflix on the TV. Soon you will be able to do just that.
Netflix has announced that it has teamed up with hospitality company Enseo to make its app available in any hotel across the globe where Enseo provides its service. Netflix has already gone global in homes so it makes sense to link up with Enseo for this service.
This move will nab them extra subscriptions too since people have to leave the hotel and will want to watch at home as well. Any guest staying at a hotel with devices powered by Enseo can either sign up for a Netflix account directly via the in-room TV or log into their existing account.
In hotels where this service is available, the TVs will have a Netflix icon or there will be a dedicated button on the remote. Guests will not be required to pay any additional internet or access fees to stream Netflix. All the conveniences of home. Guests also won’t have to worry about someone else using their account if they forget to log out after they checked out. Their Netflix credentials will automatically be removed from the device after they have checked out, which is very handy. No word on when it will happen, but soon.
