It looks like big things are happening over at Netflix. No, you won’t see it on your mobile, so don’t bother. But log on with your laptop and you’ll see a new color palette. Also the old logo is gone, replaced by one that is subtly different, with a more modern look.
You’ll be happy to know that the interface hasn’t changed very much. You still have the scrolling movies and a top-aligned menu. The background is no longer dark. Now it is a light gray color. The rest of the boxes and banners are now white. I guess you could say that the whole thing has a much cleaner and sleeker look. Netflix hasn’t said anything official about these changes, but it seems like this new design and logo are here to stay. May the old one rest in peace. Or should I say stream in peace?
Peobably many users are going to hate the new logo. I like the new logo. Both the new and the old one sport that classic cinema look and feel, but this new one just seems classier. Like you are in a classier, more modern brand of cinema, with just a touch of retro.
