The number of Windows Phone 8.1 users may pale in comparison to the number of iOS or Android users, but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be able to watch videos on Netflix bug-free. Maybe even chill like the rest of us. We all have that right. No one better ever take it away. That’s why the video streamer has an update to its app for Windows Phone 8.1, which takes it to version 4.7.0.38.
There is no changelist along with the update, but we know that users were complaining that they couldn’t log in after installing the Netflix app. Other issues have popped up as well and should be dealt with.
Some are relating to the Netflix feature that automatically plays the next episode while you’re watching a television series. So lets say you’re watching your show and you’ve just finished viewing a season two episode, if you keep the app running, the next episode from the same season will automatically start.
The update should fix these issues and Windows Phone users will be able to enjoy viewing television shows, movies and documentaries on their handset with the ease that they expect. You can install the latest version of Netflix for Windows Phone 8.1 here. Install it and get back to binge watching something good.
