myfitnesspalA lot of people like to count calories and keep track of their diet, so apps like MyFitnessPal are very handy. The app’s database of food is updated and added to by users, so it has all kinds of snacks and food combinations within. You would be hard pressed to not find something there.

And if you like to use the app, we have some good news. MyFitnessPal has announced that their app has been launched for the Apple Watch. That should make being healthy even more convenient.

So users will be able to check information about their nutrition by looking at their watch instead of having to look at their smartphone all the time. Some might argue that it is the same difference, but I’m sure some users would prefer the watch over the phone. Users will be able to swipe through and get access to different information like calories remaining, progress towards macronutrient and micronutrient goals, and how many calories they’ve earned for themselves by working out.

The app will also have integration with UA Record, MapMyRun, and Endomondo. The apps are available for download via the Apple Watch App Store or the iTunes App Store on your smartphone. You might as well use your new Apple Watch to get in shape. It’s right there on your wrist.
