Google and Motorola will unveil their new Motorola Moto X smartphone at a press event in New York this Thursday the 1st of August, the handset is expected to go on sale some time in August in the US.
Now it would appear that Motorola will launch the Moto X with five major carriers in the US, and the list includes Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular.
Earlier today we saw what were reported to be the final press shots of the Motorola Moto X, before the handsets official unveiling later this week.
The Moto X is rumored to come in a wide range of colors, and the handset will apparently be highly customizable, although as yet we do not know exactly what sort of custom options will be available on the device.
The Motorola Moto X is rumored to feature a dual core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, it will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage and will feature a HD display.
The HD display on the Moto X will measure 4.5 inches and will come with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the handset will also come with an Adreno 320 GPU and will come with front and rear cameras.
On the front of the Moto X will be a 2.1 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back will be a 10.5 megapixel camera for photos and video, the handset will also feature NFC and a 2,200 mAh battery.
