Motorola has launched the new Moto X in the US for $499.99, and comes with new customization options via Moto Maker.
The handset is also expected to launch in the UK by the end of this month. According to a new report, Moto Maker customization will launch in the UK by the end of September.
The report surfaced from Pocket-lint, a publication with decent track record, who confirmed that Moto Maker will arrive in the region by the end of the month. The further mentioned the leather back customization will be available in two colors: black and brown. Prices of the new Moto X will start at £419.99 and go up to £479.99. Furthermore, the devices will be shipped from the US, with the company planning to move its operations in China.
Moto X comes with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.5GHz. There’s 2GB of RAM on board, along with a 16GB of storage, while the Moto Maker version features 32GB.
Other features include 13MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, 2,300 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
