When you talk about video game classics, Mortal Kombat is at the top of the list. So we were stoked when NetherRealm Studios officially unveiled their next game, Mortal Kombat X a few days back. The game looks pretty amazing with a lot of gruesome attacks, like x-ray vision and and some pretty nasty fatalities too.
Will it live up to the expectation? We all hope so. It will likely have the usual roster of Mortal Kombat characters, but now we have word that there will be a few new ones. According to a tweet by Ed Boon, we can look forward to two new characters.
These characters will be introduced in Mortal Kombat X and will debut at E3 2014. We have no idea who they are, but there is some speculation that Belokk could be one of them. That character was originally planned for a release with Mortal Kombat Gold but never made it. Belokk is a good bet. It could be Hornbuckle, the character fighting Blaze in the background in The Pit II stage in Mortal Kombat II. Or Tremor, a ninja who appeared in Mortal Kombat 9 for the PS Vita as a playable character in the bonus challenge towers. Heck, it could be anyone.
