Here’s some good news for Mortal Kombat fans. When Mortal Kombat X’s first character pack was announced, NetherRealm decided to release them character by character. Sure, this might make the DLC feel “longer” but really people just want to get all of the characters at once.
Well, if you are planning on getting Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2, here is the good news. The characters in the DLC will all be released at once. The news was confirmed on Twitter by Ed Boon who wrote, “To those asking: All the new fighters in Mortal Kombat XL & Kombat Pack 2 become available on the same day. March 1.” Great news for fans. Who wants to wait?
Mortal Kombat XL is basically Mortal Kombat X, except that it comes with all the DLCs bundled with it. So if you do not own the game but want to get into it, the XL bundle is a good way to do so. Both the Kombat Pack 2 and Mortal Kombat XL will be released on the March 1st. XL is available for pre-order on the Xbox One for $59.99 right now. This is a good move. One that gamers will respect. DLCs don’t always have to be dragged out.
