The World of Warcraft movie is coming, even though it seems like we have been waiting forever. No worries, things are well on the way. Filming is expected to begin in 2014. A few weeks back, a partial cast list was revealed although the specific roles of each actor and actress was not mentioned. Well, now according to a tweet by Legendary, two new cast members have been revealed.
They would be none other than Daniel Wu and Clancy Brown. Daniel Wu is a pretty famous actor from Hong Kong. Clancy Brown might be a more familiar to audiences. You know him from Highlander and Carnivale to name just a few of his movies/shows. He has even voiced characters from the Warcraft franchise before. He was Thrall in Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans, and Scourgelord Tyrranus in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
The World of Warcraft movie was originally planned for a release in December 2015, but due to conflicts with the upcoming Star Wars movie, the film has been delayed to 2016. At least we have casting news now, so things are moving forward. It sounds good so far.
