When Activision announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, they announced that the game would be launching with only 10 maps. Gamers were no doubt disappointed by the seeming lack of variety in maps. The game looks amazing remastered, so fans just want more.
Well, Activision has apparently heard you and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will now be launching with 16 maps instead of the 10 that were originally announced.
So now we have 6 more maps that players will be able to play again. These 16 maps were all featured in the previous release of the game, so none of them will be new, but they should be pretty familiar to gamers who have played the original version of the game. However, the game will be launched with the original 10 maps. The other 6 maps will be made available for download in December, so we do have to wait for the other 6.
And just so you know, if you are still using a last gen console, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will not be available on previous generation consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360. Fans of the game are going to enjoy revisiting this classic now that it is remastered and looks amazing.
