If you are a fan of the Monster Hunter franchise, you might have heard that Monster Hunter XX will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. If you have been waiting for this game, you will be happy to know that starting next week, the demo will be available.
This means that gamers who want to try the game before buying it can do so starting on the 10th of August. The game itself will be released on the 25th of August.
The demo will be available via the eShop before then. However, you may remember that Capcom did state the game is currently only slated for a release in Japan. That is the bad news. This means that the game will not be localized for Western markets, and will only be available via the Japanese eShop. There is some more good new though. The good news is that the Switch is region-free, so you are more than welcome to create a Japanese account. They say it is easy to do.
The demo will give gamers an idea if they like the Japanese-only text/speech version. If you find that you like it, you can go ahead and purchase it and we hope you have fun.
