Audio House has created a new and very unique new tooth boombox which is finished with a wooden case yet is equipped with high-tech technology. Specifications include a 50watt class D Amplifier, Bluetooth Apt-X 4.0 music streaming and a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that is capable of providing up to 10 hours of playback from a single charge.

Audio House explains more about the inspiration behind its wooden finished Modern Boombox:
The Modern Boombox is a handmade work of beautiful portable audio. I grew up around really cool hifi audio from the 70’s. The look of those receivers and speakers were just as entertaining as the music they produced. The modern boombox is a nod to that attention to detail in design matched with the simplicity of form and function taking the best aesthetics of the past married with modern short techniques and technology to produce a PORTABLE speaker with the power of a home system.
Inspired by the golden age of audio where high-end consumer electronics met MCM style and sensibility. We wanted to bring that same aesthetic for the modern music listener who enjoys vinyl records as much as the convenience of bluetooth streaming and portable music.
Our approach was to build a boutique set of self powered bookshelf speakers perfectly tuned in a solid wood and mdf enclosure. We included Bluetooth Apt-X 4.0 music streaming and used a builtin battery for power. The rechargeable lithium ion battery inside gives you 10+ hours of portable audio. The Modern Boombox features full range sound from two 5inch aluminum magnesium drivers and dome tweeters in a handmade walnut enclosure.
