Good news Baseball fans. While the official MLB.com At Bat app won’t be ready for the launch of BlackBerry 10, MLB Advanced Media has committed to having the 2013 version of the app ready for opening day of the MLB season, which is March 31st.
As of this writing we don’t know the full set of features for the app. We do know that it will have the standard scores, standings, stats, and news options of course. Without those it would be useless. Other features will be announced soon, but MLB has said it will feature “a user interface optimized for the new BlackBerry 10 mobile computing experience.” So, what we really want to know is if the app will give access to the full library of video that At Bat subscribers get on other platforms.
Even Windows Phone doesn’t have this app yet, so this is great for Blackberry. We look forward to more quality apps for the device.
