I wouldn’t try this at home since dismantling a microwave to make a stick-mounted weapon is pretty dangerous. This guy has already done it, so you can just watch and be safe, while still seeing stuff blow up. Kreosan is the YouTube handle of the Russian man in the video below. He obviously likes to live life on the edge.
He basically tore apart a microwave’s innards and transplanted them onto the end of a stick to create a weapon. He then proceeds to blow up his stereo to demonstrate this weapon.
He calls the invention a microwave cannon, which is made using the appliance’s magnetron with a directional antenna. They demonstrate using the wand to light up bulbs too. But blowing up the stereo is the cool part. Again, don’t try this at home. Microwaves are something that you don’t mess around with. Otherwise you could end up dead and cooked. Literally. You can see it in action in this video. It’s pretty cool to know that we have a potentially deadly weapon just sitting on our kitchen counters, waiting to kill us. Did I say pretty cool? I mean scary. Scary as hell. I’m going back to using a toaster oven.
