We have no idea when Microsoft will be announcing the Xbox 720, but rumors have suggested that it is happening. We may see it at E3 2013. And now it seems that Microsoft might have finally had enough of these leaks. Apparently the company has beefed up security to an “unprecedented level”.
Employees entering the office will reportedly be subject to physical security checks, limited access to office buildings, and non-Microsoft employees entering the office at Redmond will need to pre-register their visit online and be assigned a Microsoft handler upon arrival. Wow.
Of course this all could be to protect another project, but if we can believe the reports, Microsoft certainly has something they want to keep quiet.
