Fans will be happy to know that we now have more details about Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. We know when this title will be released. The title will be accompanied by Metal Gear Online, the game’s competitive multiplayer component, on launch day later this year.
Amazon has already started taking pre-orders for the game for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 1st, 2015. On September 15th the title will arrive for PC gamers via Steam. Gamers have been waiting for this one for awhile.
The Collector’s edition is only being offered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $99.99. It will give you a collectible SteelBook, physical map, exclusive packaging, half scale replica of Snake’s bionic arm and a Blu-ray disc with behind the scenes commentary and trailers. That’s a lot of bang for your buck right there, but that’s not all.
Additional game content includes four costumes for Snake, a Venom Snake emblem, Metal Gear Online XP boost, several weapons and shields as well as exclusive weapons for Metal Gear Online. The vanilla title itself costs $59.99 for next-gen consoles while gamers who own a PS3 or Xbox 360 will pay $49.99 for the game.
