With the success of Daredevil, Netflix is surely eager for more Marvel team-ups. All thirteen episodes of Marvel’s Daredevil were released earlier this year and it turned out to be pretty awesome. Now we have an update on Jessica Jones which is also going to debut on Netflix very soon.
Netflix has released a premiere announcement trailer for the upcoming show and in doing so has confirmed the release date so we don’t have to wonder any longer.
Marvel describes this show like this:
“After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City,”
The show stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, and Carrie-Anne Moss. Netflix is following the same process for Jessica Jones that it does for all of its original content. All thirteen episodes will be released at once so you can binge watch it however you like. Jessica Jones will be available to stream on Netflix starting November 20th, 2015. After seeing what they did with daredevil, I’m curious what they do here. Should be fun.
