All of Marvel’s Netflix shows have been pulled from the streaming platform, but if you are a fan and love the props from the shows, then you’ll be happy to learn that Marvel plans on holding an auction for those props.
These include costumes and props from shows like Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. They will have Daredevil’s suits, a bullet hole-riddled hoodie from Luke Cage, and Iron Fist’s mask. Obviously these items will not be in perfect condition since they were used during filming, but they are still one of a kind items.
We don’t know how much these props and costumes will cost, but based on the estimates, it will be pretty expensive. The first-generation Daredevil costume has been estimated to sell for as much as $30,000 to $50,000, but the final number could be higher depending on what people are willing to pay for it.
We still don’t know why Marvel and Netflix decided to cancel their shows. It might have been due to a clause in the contract that Marvel can’t use the characters for their own shows for at least two years following the cancellation, it could be that Marvel simply wanted to get the ball rolling as soon as possible on this.
