Mario Kart Tour launched for Android and iOS just last month. And now, Nintendo has confirmed with a tweet that a real-time multiplayer beta test has been planned for December. It will be an interesting addition to the Mario Kart Tour game, but just be aware that there is a catch.
You will be able to access the real-time multiplayer beta test only if you are a Gold Pass subscriber for Mario Kart Tour. That is the catch. The Gold Pass will cost you about $5 a month if you want to get the subscription. The Gold Pass subscription gives you several cool perks which include gold gifts upon race tour completion. Fans seem to like the subscription.
You will also get special in-game gold badges from Gold Challenges. If you are a first-time subscriber, you get a two-week free trial period so you can see if the subscription is worth it, so you may as well check it out.
So, you can choose to get the subscription to try out the beta test of the new real-time multiplayer mode coming to Mario Kart Tour if you want. Would this compel you to get a Gold Pass subscription? What do you think?
