It was in the middle of 2013, when LG unveiled the LG Optimus Zone entry-level handset. If you remember, the design of the phone featured some sharp angles that not everyone was a fan of. And now we have a new leak from the always reliable @evleaks, showing us that LG has a new handset called the LG Optimus Zone 2, a follow up to last year’s handset.
If we can trust this leak and we have no reason to believe we can’t, this phone features a more curved design that looks like it is more in line with LG’s design language. You’ll also notice that it has a Verizon logo on the top left corner, indicating that the phone will arrive on Verizon’s network very soon.
Sadly we don’t have any specs to go along with this, but if we go by the original Optimus Zone, we can look forward to entry-level specs that are nothing to get excited about. Those in the market for a simple and cheap phone may want to check out the Optimus Zone 2 since it is scheduled to arrive on Verizon’s prepaid network.
