At the IFA consumer electronics trade show in Berlin this week, LG has unveiled a new monitor it has added to its range in the form of the LG EA93, which sports a super wide 21:9 aspect ratio.
The LG EA93 provides plenty of operating system desktop space and is equipped with a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels, and might be the perfect addition to Windows 8 with its Metro Start menu.
On the rear of the LG EA93 are 3 x USB 3.0 ports and or course a HDMI connector, with a Dual Link-up features to connect to other screens. The monitors 2,560 x 1,080 resolution has been is stretched across the screen to provide the same aspect ratio as a you would find in a cinema, making it perfect for watching movies without the letter box effect.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by LG , but as soon as information becomes available we will keep you updated as always.
