The official release date for Windows 8 is just around the corner, so several hardware vendors are gearing up to release their Windows 8 machines. Sony has its Sony VAIO Duo 11 convertible tablet. We don’t know anything official about this tablet yet, but Pocketnow has some information and some images of the tablet.
It looks like the device comes with a backlit keyboard that can’t be detached. Apparently the name Duo refers to the fact that it can be used both as a laptop and a tablet. And 11 is likely the screen size, at 11”, which is generous for a tablet.
The device comes with a stylus which can be used to write directly on the screen, but you can also navigate Windows 8 using just your finger. Full specs and price are a mystery for now, but when we learn more, we will let you know.
