Earlier this year, Square Enix registered a trademark for the Lara Croft: Reflections name. Back then we didn’t know what the title would be about, aside from the fact that it was a Tomb Raider title. Would it be a Tomb Raider game for the Nintendo 3DS? PS Vita?
Well, now we have some more details. Lara Croft: Reflections is a free-to-play card game, probably similar to Blizzard’s Hearthstone, which is also a free-to-play card game based on the World Of Warcraft franchise. We do know that right now Lara Croft: Reflections is being tested in Australia and New Zealand. We do not know whether it will hit the US and other parts of the world though. Either way, testing has to finish first. Chances are that it will make its way stateside at some point in 2014.
The game is free to download, but I’m sure that Square Enix will be charging gamers for in-game purchases. They have to make money after all. Check out the preview video right here and see if it is something that you are interested in. It may be the card game that you have been waiting for.
