Techno Source and KD Interactive have this year partnered once again to create a Kurio 4G LTE kids tablet which builds on the technology they use to create last years Wi-Fi kids tablet.
The new Kurio 7x 4G LTE kids tablet does not currently have any pricing details or an official release date but it is expected that the partnership will launch their new children’s tablet later this year.
Kurio 7x 4G LTE is equipped with a 4 inch display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and will be shipped with support for Verizon’s LTE network. The operating system on the Kurio 7x 4G LTE is Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and customisations to it, enable parents to create up to eight user profiles for individual children setting how much security and Internet access is desired for each profile with each offering full separation of files, apps, game progress and scores.
“If today’s families are always on the go, why should their kid’s tablet experience have to end when Wi-Fi connection is unavailable?” said Eric Levin, division head at Techno Source. “By teaming up with Verizon Wireless, we’re not only offering kids a seamless Kurio experience, but with Verizon’s Share Everything Plans, an affordable one at that.”
