We have heard that Apple may be looking to bring NFC (Near Field Communications) payment to the new iPhone 5, but now it would appear that Korean mobile carrier KT Telecom could be the first company to bring NFC payments to the iPhone in the form of an NFC enabled case for the iPhone 4.
The company has just launched its own NFC payment system for the iPhone 4, and it comes in the form of the iCarte 420K NFC case, that can be used for purchases with retailers, restaurants, cinemas an more.
The case will retail for about $63 in Korea, and it comes pre-loaded with $9 of credit to make purchases with, and retailers are apparently offering discounts on goods and services to people who use the KT payment system.
