Owners and possible new users of the new Amazon Paperwhite E-Ink eReader might be interested to learn that a new jailbreak has been released for the new device.
The latest Amazon Kindle Paperwhite jailbreak, builds on the previous jailbreak which was created for the older Kindle 4/Touch, and has been created with few tweaks and a new delivery system.
The method of jailbreaking a Kindle Paperwhite device is fairly simple and requires that you only download a single file, upload it to the root of your device via USB, then restart. Simple! For more information jump over to the Mobile Read forums.
Once you have jailbroken your Kindle device, you will then be able to install and run third-party applications, and use the devices for other uses, such as using the Kindle Paperwhite as a monitor for your Raspberry Pi mini PC.
