We have all heard about smartphones saving a person’s life. Sometimes they stop a bullet even. An iPhone 5c was once credited for saving a man who was shot by a shotgun. They can be a real life saver that’s for sure. I wonder how many people owe their lives to a smartphone.
This time around, an iPhone 5s is responsible for the heroic deed. A man living in Moscow, Russia, claims that the iPhone 5s helped him stay alive until today, despite having to live through a horrific accident that involves not another car, but a mini-bus. Wow.
The Apple handset was located in the side pocket of the man’s jacket when the accident happened, and a metal bar ended up getting jammed into his side. The iPhone 5s took most of the impact, and he claimed this was what saved his life. Stranger things have happened. 2 other people lost their lives in the incident however, but at least this guy came out alright and that phone may have just saved his life. Heck, maybe smartphone manufacturers should start making armor. They seem to know what they are doing when it comes to absorbing hard impacts. This is amazing.
