Many iPhone users were disappointed that the iPhone 5S did not gain more megapixels. Instead it remains at 8MP. Still, the larger surface area and an aperture of f/2.2 should allow for some decent low-light photography. To show you how good the camera works still, Apple has uploaded some sample photos that were taken with the iPhone 5S.
Obviously the photos are amazing. They aren’t going to share garbage. These photos look good enough that they could pass for shots taken by a more high-end DSLR camera.
I’m sure they took their time in optimal conditions to capture the best photo possible, maybe even hiring pro photographers, but these images do prove their point. That camera is still pretty good.
