There is a new simulator in town, from Luke Williams, the guy who came up with the Surgeon Simulator. His new project is a toast simulator. Sounds crispy. It is called I Am Bread and it gives players control over a piece of bread that just wants to become toast.
It has now been confirmed that I Am Bread will be released for the PlayStation 4 on August 25th. He will probably make a ton of bread from this deal.
Williams and his team were finishing up Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition for PS4 when he thought “if bread could move, how would it do it, and what could it possibly want to achieve?” And so the idea was born. Williams saw the potential in this idea for a game, so he and his team created I Am Bread. An odd idea, but one that could be a hit.
Players control a piece of bread that needs to become toast. The goal in each level is to create or seek a heat source “by any means necessary” so that the bread can be toasted, but it has to be edible. Not burnt to ash or anything. The simulator features various types of bread like baguettes and bagels so there’s a lot of choice here.
I Am Bread will be available for the PlayStation 4 on August 25th. Sounds interesting to us.
