Hulu’s streaming video service launched in Japan about a year ago, and to celebrate it’s released its app on Apple TVs in the country. It hasn’t been an easy year though, as evidenced by the lack of subscriber figures in the blog post.
This despite including things like HBO which it seems unlikely we’ll see on Hulu here at home. Still a year is a year and that’s something to celebrate. Just like the Apple TV app over here, Japanese users will simply find it on their devices.
New subscribers are being enticed with one month free subscriptions if they sign up now as well, so it might be a good time to take the leap and check it all out.
