On Monday, we found out some more specifications on the HTC One Mini (HTC M4), and now according to a recent report by Digitimes, the HTC One Mini is rumored to launch some time next month.
According to the report, the HTC One Mini will enter mass production in July. If this is correct, then we can expect some sort of official announcement from HTC on the One Mini some time this month.
Specifications and Features
The HTC One Mini is rumored to feature a 4.3 inch HD display with a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution. This screen size and resolution should provide a sharp and vibrant display, making it ideal for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games. The handset will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which was one of the latest versions of Android at the time, offering a smooth and responsive user experience.
The device will apparently feature a dual-core processor. While not as powerful as the quad-core processors found in some flagship devices, a dual-core processor should still provide ample performance for most tasks, including multitasking and running demanding apps. Other rumored specifications on the HTC One Mini include 2GB of RAM, which should help with multitasking and ensure that the device runs smoothly even with multiple apps open.
The HTC One Mini is also expected to come with 16GB of built-in storage. While this may not be as much storage as some users would like, it should be sufficient for most people, especially if they make use of cloud storage services or microSD cards for additional storage.
Camera and Design
One of the standout features of the HTC One Mini is expected to be its camera. The device is rumored to come with HTC’s new Ultrapixel camera technology. This technology is designed to capture more light than traditional smartphone cameras, resulting in better low-light performance and more detailed photos. This should make the HTC One Mini a great choice for photography enthusiasts.
The device will also feature HTC Sense 5, HTC’s custom user interface that adds a number of useful features and enhancements to the stock Android experience. HTC Sense 5 includes features like BlinkFeed, which aggregates news and social media updates into a single, easy-to-read feed, and Zoe, which allows users to capture short video clips and create dynamic photo galleries.
As soon as we get some more details on the HTC One Mini, including some actual pictures of the device, which is rumored to share the same design as the HTC One, we will let you guys know. The HTC One was praised for its premium design and build quality, so if the HTC One Mini shares the same design, it should be a very attractive device.
The HTC One Mini looks to be a promising mid-range smartphone with a number of impressive features. Its combination of a sharp display, capable processor, ample RAM, and innovative camera technology should make it a strong contender in the crowded smartphone market. We look forward to hearing more about the device and will keep you updated with any new information as it becomes available.
