The RatedRR YouTube channel showcases Rick Ryan with different types of guns as he puts them up against electronic devices. Guess which one always wins. We have seen him shoot devices like the NVIDIA Shield, even the iMac using an anti-tank rifle.
Well, now Ryan has set his sgits on the HTC One M8 using the TrackingPoint XS1 rifle. The TrackingPoint XS1 is not your average rifle. It is more of a “smart” rifle, with an integrated and networked tracking scope, a tracking tag, and a guided trigger mechanism. The scope can compensate for curvature of the earth, distance, elevation points, and wind. So this is a smart rifle indeed. Perfect for long distances.
You can even paint your target with a tag button and when you have lined up your shot properly, that’s when the rifle will let you fire off a shot. But that’s all just showmanship. We all know the phone doesn’t stand a chance. Check out the video to see all of the action. The only question is how well this device will fare against the shot.
