Honda’s 2014 Odyssey has one very practical addition and it isn’t what you think. It has a built-in HondaVAC, designed with assistance Shop-Vac. This is probably music to the ears of parents with messy kids.
The integrated vacuum cleaner lets you vacuum the inside of the van and the outside as well. And it doesn’t need to be plugged in for use. It can suck forever when the engine’s running, or for up to eight minutes with the car turned off.
Let your kids drop crumbs all over the place and just laugh. It’s integrated within the rear cargo area, and includes a replaceable filter and a canister bag, for easy disposal. The Odyssey just debuted at the New York Auto Show, and pricing and availability are unknown right now.
