IO Interactive’s episodic Hitman title has been very popular. That is why the developer continues to push out new updates for the game. And it has now announced that the Hitman January update is going to bring a new Professional Difficulty Level.
This will make the gameplay more challenging for gamers who want more of a challenge.
This new difficulty level provides extended replayability, a separate mastery track with unique rewards, new game features, enhanced game mechanics, and new AI behavior. All of that means an entirely new gameplay experience for those who want to challenge themselves or earn bragging rights on the leaderboards.
Players can choose the Professional Difficulty Level in all Story missions in Season One that have been completed. You have to reach Mastery Level 20 for each location in Season One to unlock the new difficulty level. Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets will remain playable on the default difficulty level which will now be called the Normal Difficulty Level. That should make things more interesting for players.
The release date of this free update is tied with the release of Hitman – The Complete First Season disc for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You better up your game now.
