As fans know, it has been a while since a new Hitman game was released. The next game is currently in development and there’s a lot of excitement about it. In fact, a disc-based version of the new Hitman game was supposed to be released later this year, but sadly Square Enix has just announced that the Hitman disc release has been delayed until early next year.
A few months back they said that it was aiming for a late 2016 release date for the disc-based version of Hitman. The full physical version of this game is now expected to arrive in early 2017. It stinks, but it happens.
Square Enix says that this year is about providing “the best episodic experience” for Hitman. By releasing the disc version early next year, Square Enix is ensuring that it has enough time after the season ends to get the best disc version of Hitman out to fans. So it sounds like they are doing the right thing for all of the fans.
Hitman’s first episode comes out tomorrow for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Episode 2 arrives next month. Episode 3 will be released in May. The Intro Pack costs $15 and includes the Prologue and Paris, players will then have to pay $10 for each extra location when they become available. Don’t miss out on this game.
