Sony is working on a major new software update for the PlayStation 4 and it needs your help to test the software before it gets released to the public. So you can do your part to keep the PS4 awesome and get the jump on cool new features.
The company has announced that it’s accepting sign-ups from PS4 owners who are willing to test the beta software. If you are interested in testing the new software you can sign up right now and hopefully be a part of it.
PlayStation 4 owners can sign up for a chance to test the next major update, but not everyone who signs up will be given a spot, it will be up to Sony to decide how many people get access to the beta software. You can sign up anytime between today and the start of the beta in early February. Users have to be 18 years or older. Once the beta starts, the registrations will be closed.
People who were included in the previous beta testing program got to see some of the new features like Folders, revised Quick Menu, the UI refresh, and more before the update was actually launched for the PS4. Pretty cool opportunity. If selected for the program, you will receive an email that includes instructions on how to download the beta software.
