No one has any time these days. Not even kids. That’s why Hasbro has launched a new version of the game that is said to take a total of 30 minutes to complete, called Monopoly Empire.
This newly-launched children’s version of Monopoly uses a “first-past-the-post” system, which means a player can win just by collecting a certain number of assets instead of forcing other fellow players into bankruptcy.
Hasbro vice president of marketing Jonathan Berkowitz says the new Monopoly was a result of feedback from parents and children, who say “they want a quick in-and-out, frictionless gaming experience.” Well now they have it.
Kids can play fast and then get back to texting and Facebook.
