If you’re a fan of the Harry Potter world, there’s a good chance that you’ve probably heard about Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. It is a new augmented reality game by Niantic, the same company that gave us Pokemon GO. The game has been out for a while now, but it is missing something important. That would be dragons.
If you watched and read the Harry Potter movies and books, you’re probably familiar with the fact that dragons do exist in the Harry Potter world, and now it looks like dragons will be coming to the game as well. The news comes from a tweet sent out by the official Harry Potter: Wizards Unite account itself.
Just to make sure you know it’s official, the announcement was also made at the San Diego Comic-Con. “From the Welsh Green to the Antipodean Opaleye, these regional Oddities will be making their landfall debut in the game at Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival in Indianapolis this Aug. 31 – Sept. 1. Fans will want to take advantage of this unique opportunity as after the event, the different dragon varieties will only appear in specific regions around the world.”
Sounds pretty cool and it will enhance the game.
