This probably seems like odd news since Rock Band 3 is a pretty old game and you didn’t expect to hear anything more about it. Well previously Harmonix did reassure fans that the franchise isn’t going away and will be making a return in the future, so I guess we should not be surprised to hear that a new DLC has been released.
This is the first DLC that has been released in the last 2 years. The game arrived for sale in 2010. It’s pretty good of Harmonix that they are still developing content for the game. That’s how you win loyal gamers. If you haven’t played this game in a while, it seems like now is a good time to do so.
The DLC comes with three songs that includes Arctic Monkeys – R U Mine?, Avenged Sevenfold – Shepherd of Fire, and Foo Fighters – Something From Nothing. This DLC will be available for download for those rocking the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, priced at $1.99 per song. The DLC’s release date is the 13th of January in the US, and 21st of January for Europe.
Who knows, maybe Harmonix is even working on a new Rock-Band type game. It makes sense that they would want to keep their current players happy if they have another coming soon.
