We already knew that Halo would be making its way to Minecraft on the Xbox 360 through the Halo Mash-Up Pack. For those of you who want to add some flavor to your game, this is good news. Halo for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition was launched yesterday by Microsoft Studios, Mojang and 343 Industries.
This extra content should spice things up and make it a much better game for many Minecraft fans on Xbox 360. And there are a LOT of fans. Since its launch on the Xbox 360 in 2012 Minecraft has sold over 12 million copies in both digital and disc forms combined. That is a super achievement.
The Halo Mash-up pack includes a Halo-themed texture set, themed user interface and menus, craftable items and 31 music tracks from across the Halo franchise. You also get 40 “pixel-perfect character skins” that depict Halo characters like Master Chief, Cortana, Arbiter, Sergeant Johnson and more. How about pre-made worlds like Sandtrap, Valhalla, Blackout, Silent Cartographer, Guardian, Blood Gulch and more? Sounds sweet! Halo for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition DLC will be available for download today. The mash-up pack costs $3.99 from Xbox Live.
