Linux gamers have some good news today. Half-Life 2 for Linux has made its way out of beta and is available for download on Steam for Linux, according to an announcement from the company.
Valve has been working hard on Steam for Linux and has been increasing the number of games that will support the Linux platform, and Half-Life 2 is a big deal. It also looks like the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset will be supported as well, so if you own the headset, you are in for a treat.
I can imagine playing Half-Life 2 with the Oculus Rift headset. That would be pretty awesome.
