Nobody knew who Telltale was a few years ago, but the company has made quite a name for itself and now everyone knows the name. They deliver episodic game versions of some of the best TV shows and movies. Like Batman, The Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones.
Get ready for a Guardians of the Galaxy game from the company. Word on the street is that Telltale is working on such a game.
This information was revealed by a document detailing in-development games circulated by SAF-AFTRA, the union of voice actors. Even though the union is currently on strike its members are allowed to work on titles in production. A list of games in production currently has been circulated online and it includes “Guardians Of The Galaxy — The Video Game.” I think we all love that news.
Telltale did say in April of last year that it’s going to work on a unspecified Marvel game that’s going to be released in 2017. This sounds like it could be that game. The sequel of Guardians of the Galaxy is also due to hit the big screen next year. Neither Marvel nor Telltale have confirmed anything about a Guardians of the Galaxy game just yet though, so this is not confirmed.
