We gamers appreciate nice long and epic games. Not short games that end just as we are getting into them. We want our money’s worth. Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 should be a nice long game. Rockstar’s Dan Houser says that the game has an expected competition time of about 100 hours.
Houser was quoted as saying, “We’ve got this big open-world experience that’s 100 hours long, and that gives players control over what they do, what they see, and how they see it. A world where you can do everything from rob a bank to take a yoga lesson to watch TV, all in your own time. How do you condense that into a two-hour or 12-hour experience where you take away the main things: player agency and freedom?”
That should ease the minds of GTA fans. Hopefully this news holds true and we get a ton of game time. Regardless of whether we do yoga in game or not.
