Google [GOOG] Android users will soon be able to purchase applications from the Android Market using carrier billing. The details were revealed in Google’s new Android terms and conditions, which indicate that carrier billing will make purchasing applications from the Android Market easier.
When carrier billing arrives on the Android Market, and you purchase an application, the cost of the application will appear in your carriers monthly statement and the payments will be taken by whatever method you pay your monthly carrier bill.
There are no details as yet on when carrier billing will go live on the Android Market, and there are no details on whether it will be available with all the mobile carriers when it launches or just certain ones.
