We have some bad news if you were looking forward to Google’s big Android event on October 29th. The company has confirmed that it’s postponing the event, with a future date yet to be determined. The reason. Hurricane Sandy. It’s East coast arrival coincides too closely to the New York City gathering.
Google isn’t willing to take the chance of the hurricane messing up their big day. You might remember that Google delayed last year’s event revealing the Galaxy Nexus out of respect for the late Steve Jobs, so Google’s October launches will hopefully go off easily next year.
When we know more, we will let you know.
