Today is the 46th anniversary of the original Star Trek series. To celebrate the occasion, Google has displayed a Star Trek doodle on its home page. It has all of the great colors of the original series and it’s an interactive animation.
You start with six Star Trek characters standing on the bridge. Click the door and you are off to the transporter room and beam down to another planet. You can fight the Gorn and have other adventures.
Obviously the folks at Google are fans of Star Trek. This is one of the coolest Google doodles yet. Maybe even the best if you ask a nerd like me.
