Last year Google made waking up in the morning much more pleasant when it introduced Spotify integration to the Google Clock app. This feature let Android users set a song or playlist as an alarm, instead of having to wake up to an annoying beeping.
The feature has been popular so far and users have been wondering when there would be similar support for other music services. Well, it is here. Google Clock 6.1 will now let you choose music from Pandora and YouTube Music.
Just like with the Spotify integration, you can choose playlists, albums or single songs. You just need the Pandora or YouTube Music app already installed. However, there’s still no sign of support for Google Play Music, despite many loyal subscribers asking for it when the Spotify function launched. We can only guess that this is coming in time.
If you like waking up to music than this is very good news for you. Between Pandora and Youtube, you certainly have your choice of any and all songs, playlists or albums. Of course, you could always be a rebel and just sleep in. I know, I know, that’s not very bloody likely. It’s a nice thought though.
